In 2023, Walls made history as the only New Brunswick artist to crack the CBC Searchlight Top 100 with her debut single, "Should Have Listened to Mama." This poignant track, released in April of that year, not only showcased Walls' exceptional talent but also earned her the prestigious Artist Development grant from Music New Brunswick and the Government of New Brunswick.
Walls' momentum only continued to build as she was selected as a finalist in the 2023 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase in Burl's Creek, Ontario. Her single is climbing the Canadian Indie Country music chart. It spent an impressive 15 weeks on the East Coast Top 30 and securing a spot in the hall of fame, peaking at an impressive number 9.
